The Masterton Golf Club, founded in 1899, sits atop Lansdowne Hill – the highest point of Masterton – with stunning views of the district from virtually every hole. Look left when standing on the first tee and you are presented with a panorama of the Tararuas, so spectacular in the winter when the range is cloaked in snow.

In the heart of the Classic New Zealand Wine Trail, less than 2 hours from Wellington and just over 2 hours to the Hawkes Bay and where Sir Bob Charles began crafting his sublime skills on the Masterton club’s rolling fairways about 60 years ago, the Masterton Golf Club welcomes members and visitors to enjoy our challenging tree lined undulating course.
