The Masterton Golf Club is located at the northern end of Masterton in the suburb of Lansdowne, a position it has occupied since its official opening in 1899. The course design has changed appreciably since those times, and with a sizeable block of land just to the north of the club earmarked for future development, the club would like to pursue further changes.
The course is about one and a half to two hours from central Wellington (up State Highway 2) and about an hour to an hour and a half from Palmerston North.
